ScreEnough

Use your phone less,
without giving it up.

Technology is a tool. Not a destination.

Checking your phone for a second easily turns into twenty minutes.

That isn't a flaw in you. Plenty of technology is built for precisely that. But over a year it adds up.

  • 61 whole days a year
  • 25% of your waking hours

61 days on your screen the rest of your year

Every dot is one day. Based on sixteen waking hours — it's the order of magnitude that matters, not the decimal.

Photo — to be takenThe opening image. An ordinary moment outdoors — at a table, walking, making something. No phone being pointedly put down, no posing. The moment would exist without a camera there.

Not less screen.
More choice.

  • Deliberate

Use technology because you chose to, not because your hand got there first.

  • Human

Technology ought to be built around people. Usually it's the other way round.

  • Enough

Not every second needs filling. Boredom isn't a problem waiting to be solved.

Technology may ask for your attention. Not claim it.
What it came down to for us
Photo — to be takenWith the experiments. Something unfinished and real — a charger in the hallway, a book on a pillow, an empty nightstand. Messy is fine.

Five things tried. Two stuck.

We're not researchers. We simply tried it on ourselves, and most of it didn't last a week.

  1. 01

    Delete everything

Cold turkey on social media. By week two it was all back — half our social life ran through those apps.

    Lasted 9 days
  2. 02

    Screen time limits

Thirty minutes per app, behind a passcode. After three days we knew the passcode by heart.

    Lasted 3 days
  3. 03

    Greyscale

All the colour gone. It genuinely helps against aimless scrolling, but you get used to it and the effect fades.

    Worked, then wore off
  4. 04

    Phone-free places

Not in bed, not at the table. No willpower involved — the phone simply wasn't there.

    Still going
  5. 05

    Something to go back to

A book on the nightstand, a guitar in the room. The problem turned out to be boredom, not the phone.

    Still going

This is where the offering goes

This section is deliberately empty for now. Once it's clear what ScreEnough actually offers — activities, tools, workshops, something for schools or employers — it goes here. The layout is modular, so parts can be added without rebuilding the page.

That's it.

You don't have to stay. If you'd rather try this alongside other people, that's where we are.
